In 90s schooling system some teachers just derived some sort of pleasure in beating the kids up. Our Mathematics teacher for higher secondary class was somewhat a similar case. His name was Bhupesh Agarwal. Though some of the funniest stories I have of my schooling years are there because he was there in them. He had this rule that no one is allowed to talk until he is doing the sum on the board. Even if there is some doubt you might not utter a word of confusion before he is done with the sum. This was one of those real incidents that happened with a friend.
